My 2 year old son has picked Loyola Maryland to win the 2012 NCAA Tournament… or maybe he just likes the letter “L” and triangle shapes :o)
For fun, my husband wanted him to be able to fill out his own bracket. So we ignored stats and let him pick strictly by choosing colors, shapes and letters. Here is how I set it up.
For round 1, I used circles, triangles, squares and stars in the 3 primary colors. Round 2, you will be left with two primary colors which turn into a secondary colors in Round 3. In order to keep track of which team he was choosing, each shape in Round 1 had the first letter of the team on it.
He matched the colored shapes with the corresponding color shapes on the bracket. Although It seemed that he was more interested in choosing the letter and shape, than worrying about the color. Oh well!
Here are his picks… I don’t think his bracket will do very well, but maybe I will be wrong and he will become some sort of prediction phenomenon.
South Dakota St.
Davidson vs. Loyala Maryland
green triangle Loyala Maryland for the win! (I am crossing my fingers for a lot of upsets)
