Ever since I went full force into craft blogging, I started saving things. Paper scraps, tin cans, jars, plastic bottles…you know, anything that could potentially become a craft project. So when I saw these plastic bottles, I immediately knew what they would become: Rockets!
With a little construction paper, cardboard, and paint, you can transform these into a space shuttle ready for blast off!
I cut a 1.5 inch hole in the front and tapped the edges so they wouldn’t cut anyone.
I glued construction paper on, and used cut cardboard for the wings. These were attached with a hot glue gun.
And I finished it with a little acrylic paint.
Don’t forget the little painted peg doll astronaut. He fits perfectly in the little hole and can go for a ride in his rocket ship!
Coincidently, Little Brother was wearing his rocket ship shirt yesterday :o)
