If you’ve been following my blog for awhile you might have seen my Sesame Street Nesting Dolls and my Disney Nesting Dolls. Well, I got the urge to create another set: Winnie the Pooh Nesting Dolls! Say hello to Pooh Bear, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, and little Roo. And I must have good timing because I’ve been told The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
was recently released on Blue-Ray DVD. That is one we will have to add to our collection!
Here is a little tutorial on how you can paint your own nesting dolls:
You can buy blank nesting dolls from Amazon. They come in a variety of sizes: 4″, 6″, and 8″. The ones pictured are 6″ but any size would work.

Wow! Those are amazing! I'm no painter so I wouldn't attempt such an amazing craft, but I love looking at yours. Nesting dolls are neat; I have a Simpsons set.
Thanks for sharing!
Blessings 🙂

Hi Sarah, the dolls are really cute and your ideas on crafting them are very clever!
Nesting dolls are VERY important.
One way is that they illustrate how there are microcosms present in larger aspects of life.
These microcosms can help us see the 'big picture' of the larger 'nesting egg' by understanding the 'small picture' of the one it encapsulates.
That's the 'big egg' metaphor, but like the apparatus itself, it also has many smaller ones that are relative to the big one.
Kids love them and are very 'occupied' with them, and there's a good reason!
Adults should spend more time reflecting on their meaning.
The world would be a better place for all.
