Crock Pot Easy Pot Roast

This Crock Pot Pot Roast is one of my go-to recipes! With only 3 ingredients it’s easy enough for a quick family dinner but also hearty and delicious for a large crowd. It makes plenty so it’s the perfect dish for those holiday dinners!

– 5.5 pound Chuck Roast

– 2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
– 1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
– 1 1/4 cups water
Note: Adjust ingredients depending on size of roast. The one pictured is only about 3 pounds so I used one can of soup, 1 package onion soup mix and about a cup of water.

Add carrots, potatoes, and celery to make it a complete meal!

1. Place roast in slow cooker.
(If you are going to add carrots/potatoes/celery do it at this time. Pace veggies under the meat and along the sides)
2. Coat with cream of mushroom soup and dry onion mix and pour in water. Mix if desired.
3. Cook on High setting for 3 to 4 hours, or on Low setting for 8 to 9 hour.
The meat will be falling apart and tender! Save the juices for gravy. You can thicken it by following THESE DIRECTIONS.
