I am loving my new custom logo woven labels from the Dutch Label Shop!! It’s the perfect finishing touch for all my crochet pieces. The Dutch Label Shop has a ton of different label options but my Repeat Crafter Me logo just happened to fit perfectly on their standard no-fold label. Yay! This particular label works well for blankets or flat crochet pieces, but a center fold label would be best for hats. You can shop many different label types and sizes RIGHT HERE on the Dutch Label Shop website.
UPDATE! Good News! The good people at Dutch Label Shop took notice of my post and they have graciously offered a discount for my readers. Type in repeatcrafterme15 (all lower case) when prompted during the purchase process. Code is good for 60 days from this date (1-31-18).
Sewing your label onto your crochet pieces is actually easier than you might think. You will need thread (it helps if the the thread matches the yarn used) and a needle. I got the needle and thread kit pictured below at Michaels Craft Store.
Thread your needle and use the backstitch on each end of the woven label working through the yarn and the label as you go. HERE is a great video on how to make the backstitch.
The thread really hides within the yarn and looks so finished and professional!
Are you considering getting a custom label for yourself or your business? If you use the Dutch Label Shop let me know! I would love to see what you order!
