I love when I am able to reuse and reinvent old crochet costumes! Several years ago I crocheted Zoe a Little Red Riding Hood cape and shared the pattern HERE on the Yarnspirations Blog. It’s a cute and easy crochet project! Well this year Zoe is dressing up as Cindy Lou Who, the sweet little girl from Dr. Seuss’ storybook How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and the red cape was the perfect addition to her costume!
Just by double crocheting around the edges with the soft and fuzzy Bernat Pipsqueak yarn in white, it updated the look of the cape and made it just a bit more Christmassy. You could also use this cape for Belle from Beauty and the Beast (snow scene) or maybe even Mrs. Claus! Lots of ways to wear this cute cape!
HERE is the link to the cape pattern.
Once you have crocheted it, take a ball of Bernat Pipsqueak yarn and a size H crochet hook and make Double Crochet’s along all the edges. You can crochet in one continuous round along the edge of the cape and hood. It will only take a few minutes!
Here are the other things you need to complete the look!
Here she is when she was much younger using the same cape for a Red Riding Hood costume!

Knitting is an art. It requires a high level of patience and https://madalinstuntcars.co meticulousness to be able to complete the work.
