It’s like a baking show but with yarn! Join me in The Great Caron Cake Off! This fun event runs now until 10/10/2020 and is hosted by Michaels Craft Store. Create a project with any ball of Caron Cakes Yarn… you can even add your own fun embellishments… then submit a photo of your project HERE to win 500 (YES I SAID 500) Balls of Caron Cake Yarn! The winner also gets an hour long video chat with their favorite yarn influencer (Mikey of The Crochet Crowd, Marly Bird, Tamara from Moogly, or me Sarah from Repeat Crafter Me). 4 other finalists will win 50 Balls each of Caron Cakes Yarn!

Over the next month we (Me, Mikey, Marly, and Tamara) will be hosting Virtual Classes at Michaels to give you some additional ideas on how to put the “icing” on you Caron Cakes projects! I am teaching a class on October 3rd that will feature the Crochet Cozy Bobbles Hat. It uses the Caron Swirl Cakes Yarn and looks like a yummy cupcake when you wear it! I will be stitching on some icing, maybe some sprinkles, and pom-pom cherry!

That’s actually interesting! I’ve never participated in anything like that before, but I’d like to give it a try one day. I’ve been a fan of crocheting for a while, but after I’ve moved to another country, I don’t even remember the last time I’ve touched a yarn. But now that I’ve finally managed to find a good job (thanks to https://layboard.in/vacancies/jobs-in-saudi-arabia/speciality/light-driver for that), I think I can finally forget about work-related problems and relax with my favorite hobby .
