Heres a great way to use the School Bus Granny Square: make it into a Crossbody Bag! Super cute for kids or make the strap a little longer and it’s great for adults! I think any educator or school bus driver would love this!
To make this Bus Bag you will need to make the School Bus Granny Square pattern (get the FREE pattern HERE) and you can either crochet a second School Bus Square OR just make a plain square using the same pattern but never changing colors.

To make the strap:
Chain 6, SC in second chain from hook and the rest of the way down chain, chain 1, turn
Row 2: SC in each stitch across, chain 1, turn (5 SC)
Repeat Row 2 until length measures about 45 inches (kid size). I would double length for adult size!
Place squares in the middle of strap and SC the edges of the square to the strap. One granny square will be on one side of the strap and the other will attach to other edge of the strap. Be sure to leave the top open!
Connect the straps together at top by using your tapestry needle to stitch the ends together.
