We are absolutely devastated by the horrific American Airlines passenger plane crash in the Potomac River last night. Finding out that members of the US figure skating team were on board has crushed us. My daughter Zoe spends most afternoons at our local ice arena figure skating with her coach and the US Learn to Skate program. We just watched the national competition held in Wichita Kansas on TV this past weekend. Prayers for all of those affected and for our figure skating community. Sending love to our Ice Den synchro team and coaches who are traveling this weekend for competitions.
Ironically, I made this pixel graph yesterday before the unimaginable happened. My plans were to start a SC graphgan blanket for our awesome figure skating coach and work on it throughout the year so we can gift it to her for the holidays. But maybe this is something you would like to get on your hook if you are also struggling with the news today.
I honestly don’t have any more words right now but wanted to post the free ice skating Snoopy pixel graph and written pattern PDFs in case you wanted to get started. This will be a long project with a lot of color changes so be sure to carry your yarn as you stitch.
Each pixel square = one single crochet stitch.
Work from the bottom up, with a starting chain of 120 in white yarn. SC in second chain from hook and continue by following the pixel graph or written pattern.
I will post my finished blanket and sneak peeks of my progress in the coming months as I work on it.

I’m leaning towards the Delft Blue as pictured above but many of the blues in the Red Heart Super Saver line would work well. Below are Delft Blue, Turqua, and Light Blue.

Hello, maybe a stupid question but do I cut the yarn at the end of each row or do I chain 1 and turn?
Personally, I’m going to CH1 and turn at the end of each row unless it is time to change colors. The less ends to weave in the better is my motto!
I wanted to ask what border you were thinking about doing for this blanket. You have some very creative ones for the others, and attempting to think ahead (when I do start it).
