Interstellar Indigo Crochet Jellyfish

Sold Out. Yes, it’s true. It’s with shock and disappointment that I confirm that the Limited Edition Bernat Blanket Color of the Year Interstellar Indigo sold out in just a few hours. This was not expected as I was prepared to show you lots of projects and ideas using this massive 1000g ball of yarn.

Since it is limited edition, I don’t expect more to be manufactured but I have an email into the team at Yarnspirations and when they know more about the future of this yarn, I will let you know!

One of the projects I had ready for you was this Interstellar Indigo Jellyfish! Don’t worry, if you didn’t get a chance to grab the yarn, you can still use ANY BERNAT BLANKET YARN for this project! In fact, Purple Sunset comes in a 300g ball and looks very similar to Interstellar Indigo!

My daughter is in a local theatre production of The Little Mermaid Jr and when I saw this fun purple yarn, I thought a jellyfish would be a cute themed gift for her teachers and production team. If my calculations are correct, you can make 6 of these Jellyfish with the big 1000g ball and at least 2 from the 300g ball.

But even better news! You don’t need Bernat Blanket Yarn at all to crochet this jellyfish! It was originally designed with Bernat Maker Yarn. Get the FREE “Julian the Jellyfish” Pattern HERE on Yarnspiraitons.com. I didn’t make any alterations to the pattern. It works up perfectly in both yarns!

Julian the Jellyfish isn’t so mini when you make him in Bernat Blanket Yarn! He measures about 10 inches wide and 12 inches long.
