Yarn Wrapped Letters make fun colorful seasonal decor. Display them on mantels, sideboards, entry way tables, or even hung on the wall. These BOO letters are perfect for October and will be a additional to your halloween decorations! You can embellish your letters with buttons (don’t you love these monster buttons?!), felt, burlap, plastic spiders, bats, or a variety of spooky (or cute) items found at the craft store/dollar store this time of year.
Materials:
– Wood letters found at Michaels. They Measure about 4×6 inches.
– Worsted weight yarn. I used Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in Fern, Teraccotta, and Eggplant
– Monster Buttons. I found mine at Michaels in the kids crafts section (over by the felt and feathers I think?) They also had cute Fall owl buttons 🙂 If you can’t find them I am providing a link to some other cute monster buttons below.
– Three 4×6 photo frames from the dollar store…although next time I would get a slightly bigger frame so I could actually put the frame back on.
– Hot glue gun
– Black acrylic paint
