I hope everyone had a wonderful December and had the chance to get a little more festive this year! My family and I celebrated and wore these Santa Style hats to all of our Christmas and holiday events! You may have seen me post a different version over the past few weeks but I thought I would pop this post on the blog with a few new pictures to close out the month and holiday season. I’m looking forward to a new year of crochet with all of you and really appreciate all of your support over the years. Crocheting brings me so much joy and I love sharing all of my creations with you!
The classic Santa Hat is a must make!

I adore Gingerbread themed everything during the holiday season so this hat was perfect for me!

After I made the Gingerbread hat, I had many requests for a Snowman version!

Change colors is easy! Let me walk you through the process with this Candy Cane Striped Hat!

I also hosted a fun Crochet-Along with my friends at Yarnspirations this month! I showed you step-by-step how to make this adorable Crochet Owl using Bernat Blanket O’Go Yarn! It’s not too late to make one or the whole flock. You can get the free (3-part) pattern HERE on Yarnpsirations.com. Video tutorials are also available!
I also made a few fun accessories for Ollie the O’Go Owl which you can find HERE
I’ve been spending a lot of quality time with the family this past week and my oldest son and I just completed this One Million Dollar Puzzle! This will come easy to those of you who have an eye for color! Complete the puzzle, scan the QR code, and you can win anywhere from 25 cents to 1 million! We won 25 cents You can purchase the puzzle HERE on Amazon.
We also took a trip to Flagstaff, Arizona (it’s only 2 hours from our new house in Phoenix!) and fell in love with the town! I felt like I was in a scene from a Hallmark Movie! Zoe and I popped into this adorable bookshop and although we didn’t find Crochet Cute Critters on the shelves, we did find Sutton Fosters new book “Hooked: How Crafting Saved My Life.” Sutton was so sweet to send me a copy herself, but I also recommend downloading the audio version!
Speaking of Crochet Cute Critters, I celebrated a HUGE milestone of book sales this month as well! My publisher notified me earlier this month that Crochet Cute Critters has now sold over 100,000 copies! I am so incredibly proud of this book and your support and love for it has been such a blessing! Thank You! The book now comes in hardcover as well! Get it HERE.
Lastly, I know this project may have slid under the radar with everything else going on, but I created an easy pattern for a Crochet Reindeer and it’s available for free download on Yarnspirations.com! I think it would be fun to crochet all of Santa’s reindeer (just change the nose color!) so it actually might be a good time to get started on this project for next year! You can get the PATTERN HERE.
Thanks for a wonderful 2021 and I will see you all in 2022!
