This isn’t my usual kind of post but I wanted to share with all you mamas a wonderful event that I had the pleasure of attending yesterday: MommyCon PDX. And if you aren’t familiar with MommyCon, let me tell you about it!
MommyCon is boutique style convention dedicated to bringing parents and expecting parents together. They travel around the country setting up day long seminars and workshops that focus on natural and organic parenting methods, babywearing, birth, breastfeeding, cloth diapering, car seat safety, natural health and medicine, baby gear, childproofing and so much more! The giveaways and gift bags are just an added bonus!
Here is me and my baby girl (4 weeks old!) all cozy in our new Beco Gemini!
I then had the pleasure of meeting Rebecca Michi, an expert in sleep training! Have I mentioned that I haven’t had a full nights sleep in over 4 years? My 4 year old still doesn’t sleep through the night on a regular basis and my 2 year old is just as bad 😐 She gave me some great info and techniques on ways I can get my older kids to sleep as well as things I can do to help the baby sleep on her own once she hits the 12 week mark.
There were so many more valuable seminars and workshops all in one place such as Car Seat Safety, Green-Proofing, and a Panel of Pediatric Doctors! If you are a new or expecting mom (or dad), I highly recommend attending MommyCon if it comes to your city! It was a really great group of supportive, like-minded moms (and dads!) encouraging and helping each other.
They will be in LA on October 6 and then they will finish their 2013 tour in Kansas City on October 26. 2014 dates will be released soon! These events sell out so be sure to check their website or stay in touch with the MommyCon Facebook page if you are interested in attending.
Thanks MommyCon for a great day!

As a first time mom I was inundated with choices for a baby carrier. Based upon The WireCutter recommendation and amazon reviews, I chose the Beco Gemini and LOVED it. It took just a few tries to get used to the straps (needing two hands) but the baby instantly felt secure and safe in this carrier. Now using two hands is second nature when I am by myself with baby and I am very grateful it has that added safety feature. In addition to the Beco Gemini, we tried a moby wrap and an older version of an ErgoBaby carrier (needing a newborn insert was terrible) but by far the Beco Gemini has been our number one favorite by leaps and bounds. I did have to reach out to customer service after several months of nearly daily use and they responded immediately and resolved the issue immediately. How I am treated as a customer is so important to me and it felt great that this company responded promptly with both kindness and professional attention. It definitely solidified my confidence and choice with Beco Gemini. I recommend this product whole heartily. Your back will thank you and your baby will love it!

In order to have a good and competent rest it will be best to simply and easily find the special data about it. For example, reviews and reactions to certain resort locations. Fortunately, I was able to do it without any problems and now if I’m going to the resort, I can go so as not to make a mistake. I recommend Tripbirdie.com here and then I think it should be no problem at all. Good luck, I hope I was able to help someone!

I partially agree with you, but when creating a creative project, it is important to fully understand the purpose and goals
