Crock Pot Lemon Garlic Chicken

March 24, 2014

Even though I recently met my Weight Watchers goal weight, I am still working hard to maintain my weight loss and stay fit and healthy. That means more low calorie crock pot recipes are coming your way! This week I made a crock pot lemon garlic chicken. It was flavorful but still light and low in fat and calories and the best part was that it was easy to throw together!

Ingredients:
– 3 Lemons, sliced
– 3 Chicken Breasts (you can choose to fillet them to make 6 thinner pieces)
– 8 cloves of garlic, minced or chopped
– 1 cup fat free chicken brother
– 1 tbsp thyme
– Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Spray bottom of crock pot with cooking spray. Put a layer of sliced lemons and half of your garlic down.
2. Lay chicken breasts on top of lemons and garlic. Sprinkle thyme, salt, pepper on the chicken. Add the rest of the garlic and lemons to the top of the chicken.
3. Pour chicken broth over and around chicken
4. Cook on low for 4-6 hours. Serve with broth as the “gravy.”

Enjoy!

Was the 1 tablespoon or 1 teaspoon of thyme? I may have over seasoned. I don't do much cooking. Oh well. I'm trying out your recipe today. Looks delicious.

The next time I read a weblog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as a lot as this one. I imply, I do know it was my option to learn, but I truly thought youd have one thing attention-grabbing to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you might repair for those who werent too busy searching for attention.

Crockpot lemon garlic chicken is a great and easy recipe, which takes a very short time to cook. It has been found that many people prefer slow-cooked recipes because they cook in the crock pot overnight or all day long. You need to get siding repair and learn more new things for siding repair. Another advantage of cooking slow-cooked meals like this one is that it’s relatively inexpensive and can be prepared ahead of time. This recipe makes enough for two or three people with leftovers being stored in the refrigerator for up to five days.
