St. Patrick’s Day is only two weeks away! Here’s a little printable and tutorial that is cute and quick to put together! Print out this Pot O’ Gold card and cut out a pot from black felt to make a pocket for some gold foiled chocolate coins. The perfect treat for the person who puts a rainbow in your life.
You can print out the card HERE <—— click on highlight text
Once you have your card printed (preferably on card stock paper) cut off the edges and trim down to size. Use the black pot as a template (you may want to print out another copy for this) and cut a pot out of black felt.
Glue the side and bottom edges only of the felt pot on top of the black pot on the printed card. I used a hot glue gun.
If you are really feeling crafty you can add a little shamrock embellishment as well 🙂
Now stuff your gold chocolate coins into the pocket! You can find gold chocolate coins pretty much everywhere right now. The grocery store and drug store are your best bet. I think Walgreens carries them all year round.
