A little felt and some buttons and you can make yourself a quick and easy ornament… or it could be a magnet, hair bow, present topper, embellishment, and more!
What you need:
– Green Felt
– 3 Red Buttons
– Needle
– Yarn or Embroidery Thread
– Hot Glue Gun
– Jute or ribbon if you want to make it into an ornament
– Template (if needed) LIKE THIS ONE
Cut two leaves out either freehand or from your template. I made two of each size.
With tapestry needle and yarn/thread sew the two matching pieces of felt together. You can stuff it lightly with some extra yarn, poly-fil, or tissue before closing. Or you can opt to leave it flat OR you can decided to skip this step completely and just use your plain felt leaf cut-outs as is!
Hot glue everything together.
Ta-da! Super simple and so festive!
