As a frequent reader of your blog (love the crafts), I noticed your image from when you lost weight with WW in an ad for a weight-loss aid. http://womenshealth-magus.com/1660/
I thought you should know about it as they didn’t use your name and claimed the weight was lost in a very short time with their aid.

Love this pattern, a hat on a hat. So cute, have to give it a try soon. I make hats for the shelter and have made 38 basic beanies in the past few weeks. Now on to make some of the novelty hats. Last year made your Minnions, Sock Monkey, and Turtle hats, Thank you for sharing your talent with everyone.

The photos all show 6 rows of white DC, but the pattern (in all sizes) calls for only 5 rows. Which is it supposed to be?

I did 6 rows as it just didn’t look right with only 5. However, my hat turned out huge even though I followed the pattern to a T.

I followed the child size pattern exactly and the hat is HUGE! Too big for myself, and I am an adult. Anyone else run into this? I have found the sizing from a few of her patterns to be off and I never receive a message back when I email her or post on her facebook. I love how cute this hat is and will have to make some changes so the sizes come out right. 🙂

I have made several of the snowman hats for my great grandchildren for Christmas. I also made 2 for a lady that lost her hair from chemo. She can cover her bald head from the winter cold. This is a very fun pattern. I appreciate that you did share it.

Hey Sarah. Thanks so much for this cute pattern. I made mine for my 5-year-old. I had no issues when it came to sizing, although I’ve seen others did. I made a few MINOR changes- I added a row of BLSC-back loop single crochet after round 11, this just gives a definite solid line between the snowmans hat and the actual snowman. I also did braided tassels and lastly I altered the nose pattern slightly. I used a blue variegated yarn for the “hat” and the look of it came out really neat. I would love to show you a pic if you let me know the best way to do so. Again thank you so much for the pattern!

I love this hat,,, my first attempt with red heart super saver wasn`t quiet right so I changed to Caron Simply Soft and a 4.50 mm hook, that worked for me :), now I have to work on the mouth so it`s not so messy on the inside Thank you for the pattern….. One hat that was acceptable is on it`s way to a new baby in Pakistan

I love your patterns. I washed my hat on the snowman because I feared it fading the Christmas Green onto the white face. I probably don’t understand the earflaps because the way I read it I would be starting the earflap where I ended and that would be in the back of the hat. Should I fold the hat in half front and back and then find the middle and count 5 stitches each way to begin? ty I am making 4 of these and the 2 green hats are finished and I think turquoise and pink might be the other 2 colors.
