So special..have just the little guy this will look adorable on. Thank you.
That is sooo sweet, thank you for your generosity! I just made your Minion hats for my grandsons, they loved them! Last year they got the tiger and dog hats, before that the monkey hats! Keep them comning 😉
Adorable! I love that he has his own hat!
thank you very much!!!
As a frequent reader of your blog (love the crafts), I noticed your image from when you lost weight with WW in an ad for a weight-loss aid. http://womenshealth-magus.com/1660/
I thought you should know about it as they didn’t use your name and claimed the weight was lost in a very short time with their aid.
Thank you for such a sweet, cute pattern.
What a lovely hat!
Confused on Hat Toddler size Round 6 ,7,8 Would you please explain why you do not repeat around? Thanks
Love this pattern, a hat on a hat. So cute, have to give it a try soon. I make hats for the shelter and have made 38 basic beanies in the past few weeks. Now on to make some of the novelty hats. Last year made your Minnions, Sock Monkey, and Turtle hats, Thank you for sharing your talent with everyone.
The photos all show 6 rows of white DC, but the pattern (in all sizes) calls for only 5 rows. Which is it supposed to be?
I did 6 rows as it just didn’t look right with only 5. However, my hat turned out huge even though I followed the pattern to a T.
I followed the child size pattern exactly and the hat is HUGE! Too big for myself, and I am an adult. Anyone else run into this? I have found the sizing from a few of her patterns to be off and I never receive a message back when I email her or post on her facebook. I love how cute this hat is and will have to make some changes so the sizes come out right. 🙂
I have made several of the snowman hats for my great grandchildren for Christmas. I also made 2 for a lady that lost her hair from chemo. She can cover her bald head from the winter cold. This is a very fun pattern. I appreciate that you did share it.
Your patterns are absolutely adorable… Thank you so much for sharing
Hey Sarah. Thanks so much for this cute pattern. I made mine for my 5-year-old. I had no issues when it came to sizing, although I’ve seen others did. I made a few MINOR changes- I added a row of BLSC-back loop single crochet after round 11, this just gives a definite solid line between the snowmans hat and the actual snowman. I also did braided tassels and lastly I altered the nose pattern slightly. I used a blue variegated yarn for the “hat” and the look of it came out really neat. I would love to show you a pic if you let me know the best way to do so. Again thank you so much for the pattern!
Love the snowman hat. Just finished one for my best friends grand daughter. Dall is 2 and I think she’ll love it!
it seems EVERY TIME I find a cute pattern I want to make, it takes me to your site! Thank you so much for sharing your talent!
Just Curious does the chain 2 count as your first DC or not? I love this Pattern it’s very adorable i have made it with and without the ear flaps.
Thank you for Sharing, and looking forward to your reply back.
I made the snowman hat and shared a picture on Facebook. Folks went nuts over it!!! So, I shared this post, too. Your creation actually encouraged quite a few friends to consider learning how to crochet!!! Excellent!!! Hope the little boy I made it for enjoys it, too. Thanks much!
I love this hat,,, my first attempt with red heart super saver wasn`t quiet right so I changed to Caron Simply Soft and a 4.50 mm hook, that worked for me :), now I have to work on the mouth so it`s not so messy on the inside Thank you for the pattern….. One hat that was acceptable is on it`s way to a new baby in Pakistan
I love your patterns. I washed my hat on the snowman because I feared it fading the Christmas Green onto the white face. I probably don’t understand the earflaps because the way I read it I would be starting the earflap where I ended and that would be in the back of the hat. Should I fold the hat in half front and back and then find the middle and count 5 stitches each way to begin? ty I am making 4 of these and the 2 green hats are finished and I think turquoise and pink might be the other 2 colors.
Could you send me the pattern so I can print it please
Ended up way to big. 🙁
Thank you for sharing this adorable pattern. I plan on making one or two and give them to the Center For People In Need. I have no small ones to make it for and they are so cute!!!
Thank you for sharing this pattern, they are darling! I made one child hat and it fit my son perfectly. Now I am making them for the rest of my family for Christmas.
The Toddler size turned out way too big for a 3 year old .I used the 9-12 months for a 3 year old
Thanks i am going to try this adorable hat
Great pattern! I used red for the top part with a white pom pom. It’s adorable!
