Spring is the perfect season to enjoy a little iced coffee or tea and crochet outside! At least once I week I like to take an hour to myself to sit on the patio and relax with my hook, yarn, and a cup of Starbucks® Black Iced Coffee. But if tea is more your thing, Starbucks® TAZO series has a plethora of flavors… their Chai Tea being one of my favorites 🙂 This weekend I worked up a C2C coffee cup granny square that is perfect for all you coffee and crochet lovers! A great size square for a granny blanket OR use it as a potholder or trivet!
What you see pictured:
Starbucks® Black Iced Coffee: Medium roast and ready to drink from the bottle or pour over ice! Love that it comes sweetened and unsweetened versions. Perfect for busy moms on the go!
Starbucks® Pike Place Roast Coffee: The classic! I grew up in Seattle, WA and Pike Place Market is home of the original Starbucks store. Such a great place to visit if you ever get the chance. This roast is smooth and satisfying! I have the K-cups which make brewing a cup so convenient every morning.
TAZO® Chai Tea Filterbag Tea: A dark tea with sweet cinnamon and ginger added. A great beverage to add into the mix when you want something flavorful and different from your basic cup of coffee.
Starbucks® Etched Siren Mug: Beautiful white on white, clean and crisp engraved logo. I love bringing this one out for brunches and special spring occasions like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
Now are you ready to get your hooks out and whip up this super cute coffee cup C2C granny square?!
I am providing the pixel graph below but if you need help figuring out how to crochet using the C2C (corner-to-corner) technique please refers to my Baby Sheep C2C post which has photo and video instruction.
Materials:
– Size H Crochet Hook
– Bernat Super Value Worsted Weight Yarn in Aqua, Taupe, and Mushroom. You can find all colors at Yarnspirations.com!
– Tapestry Needle
Finished Size: 9×9 although yours may be slighting smaller or bigger depending on your tension.
Create a bigger square by adding a border. I added a simple SC border around my square.

So why am I talking coffee you ask? In case you missed some of my previous posts, I am part of the Starbucks blogger community! You already know my love of crochet, but my love of coffee is strong too and they make a perfect pair! So a few times a year I will be reviewing a Starbucks beverage and bringing you a coffee related craft project!

Thank you to Starbucks for providing product for me to review. I was not compensated for this post. All opinions about the coffee and other products are 100% my own!

I love Starbucks coffee and your coffee cup square is beautiful. Thanks for the pattern.
Have a nice day, Margaret
I will like to know if you by any chance you have available graph for c2c blank so I can put my own desing
I love this square! Thank you for thinking it up! I just finished a 5.5 foot c2c square afghan, and I love the stitch! Some smaller squares to crochet would be so much fun! This may be my next project to use up some scrap yarn!!
