Clue #2 of the Bernat Blanket Stitch Along has been posted! It went live on Monday, October 10th and was super quick to work up! Lots of repetition in the pattern which makes this mystery project a great one for beginners and fun and relaxing for those of you who are more experienced.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, here are the details:
Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts is hosting a stitch along (there is a version for crocheters and knitters) using Yarnspirations Bernat Blanket Yarn! Every monday from October 3rd-24th a new clue will be revealed. The clues will be posted on the Jo-Ann Stitch-Along Promotional Page as well as a special Jo-Ann Facebook Group dedicated to this stitch-along. Be sure to join the Facebook group so you can ask questions and share progress! I will also be posting my progress right here on my blog!
Yolando Soto-Lopez of AllCraftsChannel.com and Mikey Sellick of TheCrochetCrowd.com are hosting this event and will be showing you how to create a super easy and fun crochet (or knit) mystery project!

Clue #2 has taken us from a circle to a square! I love how this piece is coming together and to be honest, I feel like I could stop right now have a super cute lapghan. And maybe this is because I have Halloween on my mind, but doesn’t my version look like a full moon on Hallows Eve?! The Bernat Blanket Brights line colors are working together so beautifully.
I decided to go BRIGHT with my project and am using these fabulous colors from the Bernat Blanket Brights line:
School Bus Yellow (2 balls)
Pow Purple (2 balls)
Go Green (2 balls)
Carrot Orange (1 ball).
You can browse the entire line of Bernat Blanket Yarn at Yarnspirations.com and choose any combination of colors you would like!
Remember that you can feel free to post your progress and ask questions in the Bernat Blanket Stitch Along Facebook Group! Clue #3 will be posted on Monday, Oct. 17th!

I am loving your colors, my store didn’t have any of those choices. 🙂 I wasn’t real happy with the first clue but the second one was much better except for the lack of stitch counts for the rounds. I wish mine was as smooth and square as yours 😀
Mine isn’t pretty, neat and perfectly square either. Frogged it 3-4 times then just decided to leave it alone and continue as best as I could.
Some colors here help me 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndPhhf95DiU
