Bernat Blanket Stitch Along – Clue #4

October 24, 2016

bernatblanket_clue4_5

The final clue – clue #4-  of the Bernat Blanket Stitch Along has been posted! It went live today, Monday, October 24th and all we are doing is adding on the final border of the blanket! Although, I couldn’t resist adding a fun little extra touch to my project 🙂 With a yellow circle in the center, my blanket was begging for a smiley face!! With Bernat Blanket yarn in black (technically “coal” color), I crocheted two eyes and a smile and have include the smiley face pattern below for those of you who might want to add a smiley face to your blanket as well! It does look beautiful without the added face so no pressure!

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, here are the details:

Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts hosted a stitch along (there is a version for crocheters and knitters) using Yarnspirations Bernat Blanket Yarn! Every monday from October 3rd-24th a new clue was revealed. The clues were posted on the Jo-Ann Stitch-Along Promotional Page as well as a special Jo-Ann Facebook Group dedicated to this stitch-along. I posted my progress right here on my blog!

Yolando Soto-Lopez of AllCraftsChannel.com and Mikey Sellick of TheCrochetCrowd.com hosted this event and showed you how to create a super easy and fun crochet (or knit) mystery project!

I LOVE the added face. You’re right, a big yellow circle is just begging for a smile haha!
How does this yarn feel? I’ve come across it many times but I was never sure it would work up in a way I liked, so I haven’t actually used it before.

I can’t help but share my delight from cooperation with software testing companies in ukraine. I ordered software development from them, and they exceeded all my expectations. Competent approach to every detail of the project, efficiency and, of course, excellent quality of work. I saved a lot of time and nerves – this is what outsourcing should be like!
