How do you work out how much yarn you need for your own project?

It looks really good! I like books where I can find all the necessary information. There is also essayontime platform where I can find everything I need or get help with my homework from college. I absolutely LOVE this book! I made the animal blanket as a baby gift for my niece. When she opened the gift and held it up at the baby shower it got applause!!! I never did C2C until I got this book. Now I am “hooked” on it and this is my C2C bible.
I love the variety of patterns in this book. I think the patterns are really easy to understand, even for someone who has never crochet before.
