So do you remember the Christmas Lights Blanket I made a few months ago? Well I was looking at the little Light Bulb Granny Squares and thought, wow, I think I can easily transform those into Reindeer Squares!
Using the Bernat Super Value Yarn I already had in my stash, I started making Reindeer Squares and Solid Squares in red and green.
Here is a little visual on how to make the squares.
Remember you can download the written pattern HERE at Yarnspirations.com
I chose to back the blanket in fleece! You will need a skip stitch blade and fleece fabric that can purchased at most craft stores. Once you have created holes along the fleece edge with your skip stitch blade you can SC the pieces together! Keep in mind that this part is totally optional but its a nice touch.
GREAT NEWS!

Lovely Christmas Blanket. Great transformation of the light bulb granny squares. Thanks for this pattern.
I wish you a great day, Margaret
What size blade do you use?
Que lindos seus trabalhos!
Parabéns!
I am currently making this blanket but the solid squares and reindeer squares don’t line up. On the short sides its 18 stitches on the solid and 20 stitches on the reindeer. How do I line it up??
