Crochet Santa Hat with Bernat Blanket Yarn

November 9, 2017

What?! Only 46 days left until Christmas?! Do not panic, this is plenty of time to still get a few holiday crochet projects on your hook! And this Santa hat is so super easy and quick to work up! Seriously, I spent about an hour on this thanks to the thick and chunky Bernat Blanket yarn and an easy-to-follow pattern from Yarnspirations. You could easily make a set of matching hats for the whole family!! With two big skeins of Bernat Blanket Yarn in Red and White, you could make get many hats! I purchased the Red yarn from the Bernat Blanket Brights line, and the White yarn from the Bernat Baby Blanket line.

This may look like a bobble stitch but it’s actually just a Triple Crochet that pops out once you alternate it with a SC. Love the look!

This Santa Hat is one of many holiday crochet projects you will find in the Yarnspirations new Dear Santa Gift Guide! The Santa hat is included in the pattern for the Santa Snuggle Sack. Click on “View Pattern” for the Dear Santa Crochet Sack and scroll to the end of the pattern PDF where you will see the Hat Pattern listed! Get the free crochet Santa Hat Pattern HERE.

If you are feeling ambitious, make both the crochet sack and the hat! This would be the most comfy set to cozy up with on Christmas Eve.

Be sure to check out all the other fun patterns that would be great gift for kids and adults! View the entire Yarnspirations Dear Santa Gift Guide HERE.

If you missed my cute little crochet Gingerbread Man pattern (that Zoe is holding in the photo above) you can find it HERE. Another quick and easy Christmas pattern for you to add to your to-do list!

Sarah: You are always so generous to share not only your own designs but those from other sources that you know we will love. These stockings are great, thank you. That little daughter of yours is a perfect model for your creations, she’s beautiful. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas.
