Hot Air Balloon Crochet Square

UP, UP, and AWAY!! You’ll be flying high with this Hot Air Balloon Crochet Square! Make an entire blanket or you can use just the hot air balloon portion of the pattern as an appliqué. This is the summer crochet project we all needed! Would love to see what colors you choose for your hot air balloons!

Finished Size: 7.5 inches wide by 9 inches tall
Ok so this isn’t exactly a “square” but you can easily piece these together for a small or large afghan!

Materials:
Red Heart Super Saver (or any worsted weight yarn!)
Bright Yellow, Cherry Red, Spring Green, Blue, Light Blue, and Brown

– Size H Crochet Hook
– Tapestry needle

Hot Air Balloon Pattern

With center color

Chain 13, SC in second chain from hook, HDC, 2 DC in next 4 stitches, DC, HDC, SC in next 3, 2 SC in last, now working on other side of chain, SC in first 4, HDC, DC, 2 DC in next 4, HDC, SC in last, fasten off 

With side color 1

Join in second stitch at top, SC in next, HDC, DC in next 7, HDC, SC in last 4, fasten off

With side color 2

Attach to second stitch on top of other side, SC in next, HDC, DC in next 7, HDC, SC in last 4, fasten off

With side color 3 (this will go on both sides of balloon)

Attach to second stitch on top of other side, SC in next, HDC, 2 DC in next 5, DC, HDC, SC in last 4, fasten off 

Repeat on other side of balloon

Hot Air Balloon Border/Background

With light blue yarn

Join yarn in second stitch on top (see video for clarification)

Round 1: Chain 2 and make a DC, 2 DC + chain 2 + 2 DC in next (corner), DC, HDC, SC in next 5, HDC, DC in next 6, 2 DC + chain 2 + 2DC (corner), DC in next 7, 2 DC + chain 2 + 2 DC (corner), DC in next 6, HDC, SC in next 5, HDC, DC, 2 DC + chain 2 + 2 DC (corner), DC in last 6, join to first DC, chain 2

Round 2: DC in first 3, corner, DC in next 2, HDC, SC in next 9, HDC, DC in next 5, corner, DC in next 2, change to brown yarn, DC in next 7, change back to blue, DC in next 2, corner, DC in next 5, HDC, SC in next 9, HDC, DC in next 2, corner, DC in last 8, join to first DC, chain 2

Round 3: DC in each stitch around, 2 DC + chain 2 + 2DC in each corner, 7 DC in brown when you get to the brown stitches from previous round, join, chain 2

Round 4: DC in each stitch around, 2 DC + chain 2 + 2DC in each corner. Fasten off weave in ends

    محله جنت آباد مرکزی و شمالی در شمال غرب تهران و در ناحیه 7 شهرداری منطقه 5 قرار دارند و از غرب به شهران، از شمال به سیمون بولیوار، از شرق به محله‌های پونک و چهار دیواری و از جنوب به جنت‌آباد جنوبی منتهی می‌شود. ضمن اینکه ساکنین جنت آباد به بزرگراه‌هایی مانند اشرفی اصفهانی، آبشناسان، شهید باکری و همت به راحتی دسترسی دارند.
    بافت محله جنت آباد چگونه است؟
    بافت این محله بیشتر مسکونی و نوساز است و یکی از دلایل افراد جهت انتخاب این محله برای زندگی؛ خلوتی و آرامش آن است. برای تایید این حرف در کوچه‌های جنت آباد برخلاف بسیاری از محلات تهران همیشه جای پارک موجود است و خبری از سر و صدا و شلوغی نیست. ضمن اینکه ادارات دولتی و شرکت‌های خصوصی کمتر در این منطقه متمرکز شده‌اند و در واقع همین موضوع دلیل دیگری است بر آرامش بیشتر این محله.
    قیمت آپارتمان‌ محله جنت آباد تهران
    جنت آباد در شمار محله های بالا شهر تهران قرار می گیرد. قیمت خانه ها در جنت آباد شمالی یا جنوبی تفاوت چندانی به لحاظ مکانی ندارد و بیشتر بسته به نوع خانه ای است که انتخاب می کنید. برخی آپارتمان ها در این محلات بسیار لوکس ساخته می شوند و به همین دلیل هم قیمت بالایی دارند. متوسط قیمتی در جنت آباد برای آپارتمان های نوساز متری بین 9 تا 12 میلیون تومان است که برای آپارتمان های خاص تا متری 20 میلیون هم افزایش می یابد.
