Christmas Characters CAL – Week 1

September 25, 2020

Merry Crochet Along! Welcome to week one of this jolly project. We are starting by crocheting the base of this wonderful afghan. The base is made up of rows of single crochet stitches and color changes. The color changes will create large striped panels, which will become the bodies of our fun characters. After some easy stitching, the bulk of our blanket is done!

GET THE WEEK 1 INSTRUCTIONS HERE

If you tried signing up and are having issues or you aren’t receiving the emails, here is what you can do. THIS link should take you directly to the week 1 instructions and pattern. I believe that the sign-ups are closed so it’s too late to register but you can still come to my blog or social media pages every Friday over the next 5 weeks to get the links to the pattern/video. If you did sign up and can’t find your emails please try searching in your e-mail search bar for [email protected] and see if your emails appear. Sometimes they are hidden in spam or other folders (especially if you have gmail).

Again, feel free to just click this link to get to WEEK ONE!

As you are working on your blanket, please share your progress on social media using the hashtag #ChristmasCharactersCAL. I would love to see your works in progress as well as your finished blankets!

I designed a super fun Christmas blanket for the whole family to enjoy! The Christmas Characters blanket features a set of recognizable holiday characters, making it perfect for the upcoming season.

Follow along each week as we crochet the afghan together! As you go along, you can share your progress on the Yarnspirations Stitch Squad Facebook Group and tag @Yarnspirations on Instagram.
