Crochet Rudolph Light Up Face Mask

November 23, 2020

While I was wandering the aisles of Michaels Craft Store last week I spotted these adorable Rudolph Light Up Nose’s. I immediately had the idea that I might be able to crochet the nose into a face mask. This is a great way to make these masks fun and festive for the holidays! Of course if you are wearing this Crochet Rudolph Face Mask out and about please use a fabric lining and or wear it over a disposable face mask.

Materials:
– Rudolph Light Up Nose from Michaels.com
– Red Heart Super Saver Yarn in Color Cafe Latte (or any other brown)
– Red Heart Fabric Lined Face Mask Pattern (GET IT HERE)
– Size H Crochet Hook
– Tapestry Needle

You will be following THIS PATTERN from Yarnspirations.com. It’s a super simple face mask pattern that can easily be adjustable.

When you get about 5 rows in (the middle of your project) you will crochet the next row around the elastic band, securing the light up nose into the middle of the mask. I have a video tutorial below showing you exactly how to do this!

Finish crocheting your rows as the pattern specifies and then make ear straps/ribbon ties. I ended up making chain loops for my ear straps but you can follow the Yarnspirations pattern and make the straps as they directed.

And there you have it! A Crochet Rudolph Light Up Nose Face Mask!
