These are simply adorable. Making some for sure!!!
Love, love, love your patterns.
Vanesa!
I am literally sitting here crying. I want to make this so bad but can’t figure out that magic ring! I went frame by frame on the video but end up with a giant circle and yarn everywhere. I wish you were my neighbor so you could sit next to me and show me!!! I know I can manage the rest of the basket but just can’t get that bottom!!
Try a chain 4 then slip stitch into the first stitch to make a circle. Then do the 10 sc into that circle 🙂
thanks! I will try that!
How do I add rounds to make this basket larger?
I made a slightly larger version. Round 3b: 2SC in the first stitch, 1SC in the next stitch. repeat all the way around. (alternately you could increase again… Round 3c: 2SC in the first stitch, 1SC in the next two stitches. repeat all the way around.
Resume Round 4 of original pattern.
Hi, I’m interested in expanding the basket, but would you not then do a plain round of SC for Rd3c? How come you go straight to the next increase? Hope you don’t mind me asking, I’m still learning!
You’re a genius. This is so cute.
How do I add rounds to make this basket larger? Thank you for your cute designs!
So beautyful, lovely. thanks for share.
Love these… i have made a few of them but added a little Pom Pom on the back for a bunny tail
I was thinking of doing the same thing.
Very interesting, I read similar information on wikipedia/.
Hi, is there a way to make this larger?
Thank-you
I think if you made the bottom bigger don’t stop at 25 and keep going I am sure you can make a big basket give that a try. But you would have to ask the maker of the pattern for to help with the ears to make bigger. good luck on the basket.

Could I use bulky weight yarn for this, instead of using 2 strands at a time?
Thanks for sharing this post. Good work keep it up!

Do you do something to the back of the eyes and nose so they aren’t pointy?
Thanks!!! Love these little guys.

Very cute. Is there a trick to making the ears stand up? Mine are very floppy.
Thanks so much for sharing – these are adorable!!! Made a couple for teacher gifts!
Thank you so much for this adorable bunny basket pattern. Honestly I shall start in July to crochet for Christmas. I didn’t have enough time this year to do all the handwork I wanted to make this year. I love the “magic circle” I use it all the time. It makes such a clean circle.
Jill.
Sarah, I just want to make sure I’m doing this right. So at the end of each row, you join to the first stitch of that round, chain 1, then when you start the next round, do you put the first stitch in the same place where you just joined ? OR into the next stitch which would be the 2nd stitch really?Thank you so much!
Thank you very much to the owner of the blog, this is a beautifully designed site with a lot of interesting and rich content, with a lot of people participating.lol beans

Would you consider making the text font on your whole website slightly darker? I’m older, yes, but not ancient. Like some recent cookbooks I’ve wanted to buy, the font is so light that it gives me a headache trying to read it, and I have trouble following the recipes and pattern wording because of it.
Thank you!
Please delete my comment below. For some reason, the text was much lighter in desktop view on my phone. I just needed to go back to phone view and do a refresh!
I do have another question, though. You no longer update your Ravelry designs page, I see. Are you on any other group crochet website that features designers and their patterns, or are you just on the sites you list here?
Thanks!
it is very useful and informative post you shared here.

Love these! I made a few for my coworkers. Very easy, but of course, had to watch the video first to get it down.
Love the bunny basket, but can’t get the ears to stand up. I am using the exact same yarn, my hook is a 6 instead of 6.5. Is there a trick?
