Red Heart All In One Grande and Petite Yarn

Meet the Newest Members of the Red Heart All In One Family!

Not long ago, I shared my project with the brand new Red Heart All in One Quilt Motif Yarn and how I used it to create THIS PURRFECT PILLOW. The Quilt Motif yarn was such a clever idea. Striping yarn that works up into corner-to-corner squares without changing colors! And now, Red Heart has added two more yarns to the All in One family: Granny Square Grande and Granny Square Petite.

If you love granny squares but don’t always love the yarn changes (and the ends that come with them), these new yarns are going to be your new best friend. Just like the rest of the All in One line, both use an innovative striping effect that gives you perfect multicolor squares without interruptions. No color switchin’, keep on stitchin’!

Red Heart All In One Granny Square Grande

Think of this as granny squares supersized! The Grande version lets you crochet 4 big 12″ motifs from a single ball, making it perfect for blankets, statement pillows, or any project where you want bold, oversized squares.

The yarn even includes a handy “tail” built into the last round of each motif so you can easily stitch your squares together without needing extra yarn. Less fuss, less waste, more fun.

Red Heart All In One Granny Square Petite

On the other side of the spectrum, we have Petite. It’s small but mighty! Each ball makes 32 perfectly proportioned 4″ motifs, which are ideal for detailed projects like scarves, tops, bags, or even fashion-forward patchwork designs.

Like the Grande, Petite also includes the built-in joining tail for simple assembly. And of course, it uses the same striping technique to create beautiful multicolor squares automatically.

I love that all three yarns in the All in One collection can be mixed and matched. Quilt Motif, Granny Square Grande, and Granny Square Petite. Whether you want large, bold squares, smaller detailed motifs, or striped corner-to-corner blocks, there’s something here for every project.

  2. These yarns sound amazing! Has anyone tried combining Quilt Motif with Granny Square Grande in one project? I did! I used the Quilt Motif for a border on a baby blanket made primarily of Granny Square Grandes. The textures played off each other nicely. What a nostalgic adventure! Pacman 30th Anniversary just sprung to mind thinking about the colors!
