Mini Crochet Seagull Pattern

June 16, 2026

This mini crochet seagull may be small in size, but it’s full of coastal charm! I love summers by the water. The salty ocean air, the sound of crashing waves, sandy toes, and of course the seagulls soaring overhead looking for their next snack! This adorable Crochet Seagull captures all those seaside vibes in a quick and fun project that’s just right for summer stitching.

Made with simple pieces and basic amigurumi techniques, the body of the seagull is crocheted in one piece and then finished with separate legs, beak, wings, and tail feather. I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn, which gives this little bird great stitch definition and durability.

While this seagull happens to be keychain-sized, there are so many fun ways to use it beyond clipping it to your keys! Add a hanging loop and turn it into a beach-themed ornament, string several together for a whimsical summer garland, attach one to a backpack or tote bag, use it as a playful gift topper, or tuck it into a coastal-themed display. I’m already planning a larger cuddly version made with Bernat Blanket yarn, and I think it will make the cutest seaside stuffie!

And before the flock starts circling…“Pattern? Pattern? Pattern?” Scroll down and start stitching your own Mini Crochet Seagull today!
