Lemonade Stand Magnetic Picture Frame

Celebrate your summer memories with this Lemonade Stand Picture Frame made from craft sticks! Super easy to make and it will look adorable on your fridge or magnet board. A lovely keepsake to remember all the fun times you and the kids had this summer 🙂

Materials:
– 16 Mini Craft Sticks from CraftProjectIdeas.com
– 4 Jumbo Craft Sticks from Craft ProjectIdeas.com
– Magnetic Buttons (with adhesive back) from CraftProjectIdeas.com
– Yellow acrylic paint
– Paint brush
– Black pen
– Glue gun

Paint 8 of your mini craft and one of your jumbo craft sticks yellow and let dry. You could also paint the other sticks white for a more dramatic affect but I let mine wood colored.

Turn the yellow sticks over and create a pattern of yellow/plain/yellow/plain with all of the 16 mini craft sticks. Glue one jumbo craft stick over the 16 mini sticks. Then glue the remaining two jumbo craft sticks so they connect the top sign and the bottom as in the picture below. Then add 4 of your adhesive magnets to the 4 corners.

Turn over and write on the top of your sign. You could also add “Summer 2014” or any other information you want on your picture frame! 

To make it extra fancy, create pink and yellow felt bunting and string it across the bottom of your stand. I cut little triangles out of pink and yellow felt and glued them onto pink cording (also from CraftProjectIdeas.com). But you could use any kind of string or yarn for this. 

I first glued the string down and then I glued the felt triangles over the string. Tape a picture to the back and it’s ready to hang up!
