Halloween Mini Pizzas

October 20, 2013

We are getting into the Halloween spirit this weekend. A trip to the pumpkin patch, pumpkin carving, and a little decorating. What better way to end the day than with some Halloween Mini Pizzas for dinner! Big brother loved making these with me and they are so simple. No need to make or buy dough. The crust is made from a can of GrandsJr Biscuits!

Ingredients:
– 1 can Pillsbury Grands or GrandsJr Biscuits. The Jr biscuits are smaller but either would work.
– Pizza sauce
– Shredded Mozzarella cheese
– 1 String cheese
– I can whole olives
– I can sliced olives
– One package of pepperoni slices

Directions:
1. Grease baking sheet and pat down biscuits into flat circles.
2. spread pizza sauce on top and sprinkle on cheese. If you are making the mummy pizza, then you will use the string cheese.
3. Add toppings:
Spider Pizza: One whole olive cut in half for the body and a the tip of a whole olive for the head. now take 4 sliced olives and cut those in half to make 8 legs. Olives may spread out when cheese melts… move them back into place while pizza is still hot.
Jack-o-Lantern Pizza: cut pepperoni into triangles for the eyes and nose. Cut a toothy smile out of another pepperoni slice. Don’t forget to cut a pepperoni stem as well!
Mummy Pizza: Peel string cheese into strips and place on pizza sauce. Trim edges if needed. Use two slice olives for eyes.
Spooky Owl Pizza: Use two pepperoni slices for eyes and two olive ends for eyeballs. Cut a triangle pepperoni nose. Use a whole olive cut in half for each wing.
You can also make a Monster face pizza as shown bellow or make up your scary face!
4. Bake at 375 for about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bottom of crust is golden brown.
