My boys pizza party was a success! They had a great time and all the pizza themed crafts and decor came together so nicely on the big day. I thought I would do a round-up of everything I created and purchased in case you ever want to throw your own pizza party. Or these would be great ideas to use at a Ninja Turtles party as well. Especially since the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie opens on May 16th!
First let me show you the location of the party. We held the party at this awesome restaurant called Papa’s Pizza Parlor. It has a huge enclosed play area complete with a large ball pit, ferris wheel, free kiddie carousel, a large play structure, and a smaller structure for the little ones. Their menu has lots of options, but of course they are known for their pizza!
I designed the invitations and had them printed at Kinkos (2 on a page, single sided, color, on gloss cover paper). You can download the blank invitation file HERE if you would like to use it for your own party! I think you should be able to place it into a Word document and type in your own party info… you could also use Photoshop or PicMonkey. It’s a 5×7 jpeg image.
I made felt pizza bunting, inspired by my play food felt pizza.
It was the perfect decoration hanging above the dessert table.
Now lets talk about the desserts! I came up with an idea to make mini pizza cookies out of Nilla wafers and used them as cupcake toppers. The kids loved these!
I put in a special request for a pizza cake at our local bakery (Beaverton Bakery) and they came through!

The boys wore chef hats with their names embroidered on each one. I order them from SewByL on Etsy. We now keep the hats with their dress up clothes and they wear them when they are playing in their kitchen.
