D is for Dog: Crochet Dog Applique

October 5, 2014

Here is Day 4 of my 26 Days of Crochet Animal Alphabet Appliques!
D is for Dog

This darling doggy is a cute addition to my animal alphabet but I think he would look great all by himself in the corner of a little crochet blanket.  Pair it with my Crochet Puppy Hat for the perfect baby gift!
Materials:
– Worsted weight yarn. I used Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in Oatmeal and Chocolate with a little bit of Terracotta Orange.
– Size G Crochet Hook (the bigger the hook the bigger the appliqué and vice versa)
– Tapestry needle
Abbreviations:
