Here is Day 13 of my 26 Days of Crochet Animal Alphabet Appliques!
M is for Monkey
I’m bananas over this silly, smiling monkey! I think he looks a little like Curious-George and could even be more like the cartoon character if you added bigger eyes and a full smile. Crochet 5 of these and you got yourself a 5-little-monkeys-jumping-on-the-bed interactive story. So much you could do with this one!
Materials:
– Worsted weight yarn. I used Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in beige and honey (You guys know how much I LOVE Vanna’s Choice Honey!) and a little bit of black for the face.
– Size G Crochet Hook (the bigger the hook the bigger the appliquĂ© and vice versa)
– Tapestry needle
SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet

Sorry guys, I didn’t have a chance to make a step-by-step picture tutorial for this one. But I think this one is pretty simple since it works in rounds and the stitches look clear in the main picture. If there is any confusion I am happy to add a picture tutorial in later 🙂
