Play-Doh Ornament Gift Card

November 24, 2014

Since my kids are at the age where they are pretty much obsessed with Play-doh, I thought it would be nice to make them little holiday gift that was quick and easy to put together and something I knew my little crafters would enjoy. The little party pack play-doh containers make perfect little Christmas ornaments and fit in the center in these printable cards I came up with. This is a great last minute gift idea and the perfect party favor or gift for your school friends.

CLICK HERE to download the printable card from Google Docs. As you will see I customized mine with “Love, Mom & Dad” but the actual printable has a “From” area to write your own name.
Or CLICK HERE for a holiday neutral version!
And one more option by request!

And one last one! HERE IS THE MERRY CHRISTMAS version!

Set play-doh container in the middle of the ornament circle and trace around the bottom edge.

With sharp scissors cut out around the drawn circle.

Pop your play-doh container in the hole!

That’s it! Your play-doh ornament card is ready to gift!

You come up with the cutest ideas! My kids are teenagers now but boy, I wish you were around when they were younger. I do make your hats for gifts and they are always a huge hit!

I absolutely love this idea! As a teacher, I love to it when parents send items to school other than food or candy. These are the perfect Christmas gift for my daughter’s pre-k friends…we just finished them up. 🙂

Hi, I love your printable gift tags! I was wondering if I could request a custom one for the play doh ornament that says “wishing you a doh-lightful Christmas!” Please let me know!

    Thanks
