Crochet Emergency Keychain

April 1, 2015

Sometimes when you are on-the-go, you become in desperate need some yarn and a hook… Crochet Emergency Keychain to the rescue! I took a plastic ornament ball and filled with tiny 1 inch balls of yarn. Added my crochet hook keychain (purchased from Amazon) to the top and VOILA! The perfect crochet emergency kit keychain! You could even put a tapestry needle and some stitch markers in there… maybe even a little pair of scissors! A funny gift that any crocheter would love!

The plastic ball ornaments come in packs of 12 and are about 2.5 inches in diameter. They easily snap open and shut. The crochet keychain easily clips to the top of the ornament hook. Links to purchase both are below!

You can even add a fun label! I printed “In Case of Crochet Emergency Break Open” on an Avery address label but if you have a Cricut or Silhouette machine you could really make the text look good!

This Crochet Emergency Keychain is the little sister project to my “Crochet Emergency” post which you can find HERE.

I love this!! Just the other day I found myself waiting, waiting, away from home, without any yarn or hook! That was definitely an emergency.
