A fun little yarn ball stamp doesn’t only have to be used with ink. With a bit of polymer clay, you can make your own yarn ball charms! Perfect for a necklace, bracelet, or keychain for you and your yarn-lover friends!
I found THIS stamp on Amazon (made by www.heroarts.com) and it is a great size to make little charms (1.5×1″) although I’m sad to say it is currently unavailable 🙁 But don’t worry, below are links to some similar ones (crocheters, the knitting needles can be cut off your clay charm). I stamped about a quarter size piece of Sculpey III Polymer Clay.
I used my 5-in-1 tool set to cut around the yarn ball and poke a hole in it. You could easily use an exacto knife and a pin or pen to poke a hole as well.
Smooth out edges with your finger and bake in oven at 275 degrees for 15 minutes.
When cooled, coat with Sculpey Gloss Glaze.
Add a keyring or string on a chain!
