I think you get the hang of the pattern by now 🙂 Continue to make larger blanket. Remember that as it gets longer, it also gets wider. Stop increase rows and just DC in each stitch around to make it longer but not wider.
My tree is approx 25 inches long by 30 inches wide. I originally made it for my 2-year-old but big brother decided he wanted to model it so as you can see it is a little small. You will want to make yours bigger! I may even continue this one when I get a chance.
STAR PATTERN:
I followed THIS PATTERN for the star but used SC which made it a little wonky but I like the size. I stopped after 7 rounds.
CHRISTMAS LIGHT APPLIQUE:
HERE is my Christmas Light Applique pattern! Make as many as you’d like to decorate your tree. I loosely wove a black strand of yarn through to connect them… upon second look it is too loose and I will probably need to go back and re-stitch it on.
Hope you like my take on the mermaid tail! And if you’re curious about the Elf hat, that pattern will be posted soon 🙂

Can’t wait for the elf hat pattern too!! I have searched often for these but never like the patterns I find! Love this one!

So cute!!!
Now I want to design a stocking one for my 8 year old granddaughter, and make the tree for my grandson.
Absolutely adorable for boys and girls too!
I was wondering if you had a pattern for the hat the boy is wearing in the Christmas mermaid blanket pattern picture? If there is one can you direct me in the right direction please and thank you
Is a snowmanghan in the works?!
I love it! It’s a awesome idea! I can’t wait for the elf hat.
OMG – another totally awesome pattern! You have gotta be the fastest crocheter + mostest focused person on the planet that I have come across anyway, I do not know how you manage to actually complete sooooooo MANY things! Just to make ur C2C Christmas sqs. blanket would literally take me years to complete – I tend to lose interest as I go along & do not manage to stick with it to ‘giterdone’ – yes I can & DO make myself at times but not always, sigh – I know that I could for sure complete this tho!! :))) TY & always for sharing the fab patterns/designs that you come up with – hugs to ya
Which yarns did you use to make your Christmas tree blanket?
I guess finding useful, reliable inoafmotirn on the internet isn’t hopeless after all.
Turf cannot be overcome for WCQ. They would have to drop a natural grass field on top for each and every qualifier. That would make them a money-losing proposition off the top.Never going to happen as long as they play there. I love the atmosphere at C-Link too. But it’s not.
This is adorable, but it looks as though none of us are going to get a response for the cute elf hat. I have many “elf hat” tute’s on google and on youtube, but this one is really cute. 🙁
I found the pattern for the elf hat today by going to the contact part of her page then at the bottom is a search bar just type in elf hat And it should take you to the pattern
Thank you so much for sharing this pattern. I really appreciate how easy it is to follow your written instructions. And thanks for the picture of the finished Elf Hat on that sweet boy!
so cute
It’s necessary, I need more information
