Caron Harvest Crochet Pumpkins

October 11, 2017

Another month, another FREE pattern lookbook from our friends at Yarnspirations! I especially love seasonal and holiday crochet so of course I am drooling over the new Holiday Cheer Thanksgiving Lookbook! In this post I am so excited to show you my favorite project from the new pattern book: Caron Harvest Crochet Pumpkins!

Made with Caron Simply Soft yarn, these pumpkins can be whipped up in a variety of colors! I chose to use a variety of Fall shades: Bone, Pumpkin, Autumn Red, Gold, Country Blue, and Taupe for the stems! All of these colors and more can be purchased HERE at Yarnspirations.com.

The construction of these pumpkins is actually really simple! The pumpkin is worked in rounds using SC stitches to create the grooves and DC stitches to allow for the ridges. You do not have to sew lines of yarn around your pumpkin at the end!

Aren’t they so gorgeous and perfect for your Fall decor?! I have mine in the middle of my dinning room table and I’m absolutely thrilled with out they turned out!

I made the small size and they turned out to be about 5 inches wide and 4 inches tall. But they do come in 3 sizes!

As soon as I saw this pattern earlier this week I knew I wanted to make a few. I mixed up my choices of yarn according to what I could find that matched my color scheme but I started one last night and I’m so excited to finish a few more. Might even make a few for gifts. I love your color choices by the way. Yarnspirations really nailed with this pattern.

I saw your pumpkins and they are exactly what I’m looking for. However, I have tried everything I can think of to get to the pattern but none of the links are working for me. I really would love to make these adorable pumpkins. Is there anything else I can do to get to the pattern?

This is cute and trendy Sarah! 🙂 I’m impressed! Where do you get all these ideas? I’ll see if I can manage something that looks half as good as your work and will take it from there. If I’ll find it too big of a challenge I’ll ask my daughter. 🙂 Thank you for sharing this lovely looking home decor idea. Nicole

Is it just me or is the pattern on the yarnspirations site incorrect? I tried making one last night but in the photos of the completed pumpkins it shows 5 little quadrants, when I completed my pumpkin by following the pattern exactly it only made 4 quadrants… Would love some guidance. It is super cute but looked more like an orange pepper than a pumpkin lol
