Circle of Snowmen Crochet Wreath

October 16, 2018

Yesterday I posted a Crochet Snowman Head pattern (and video tutorial!) and today I am showing you what I made with all my little snowmen: a Circle of Snowmen Crochet Wreath! I’m loving my new Wintery decor and can’t wait to hang this on my door soon.

All you need to do is make 6 Snowmen Heads
FIND THE FREE CROCHET SNOWMAN HEAD PATTERN HERE.
Be sure to use Bernat Super Value Yarn in a variety of colors to make fun bright colored hats!
Less than one skein is needed for all 6!

Plus use this coupon code for an additional discount on the yarn!
Code: RCMSUPERVALUE20
Discount: 20% off Bernat Super Value
Duration: Oct 16 to 31st.

Next you will attach them to a wreath form. I purchased my 12 inch wreath form at Michaels Craft Store.

You will want to crochet around your wreath form before attaching the heads.

The pattern is simple:
I used color Aqua from the Bernat Super Value line of yarn.
Chain 21, SC in second chain from hook and the rest of the way down the chain, chain 1, turn (20 SC) Rows 2-130(approx): SC in each stitch, chain 1, turn (20 SC)
Leave a long long tail after your last row so you can stitch the edges together onto the wreath. When you wrap your crocheted strip around the wreath make sure your rows match up. Now take your tapestry needle and start stitch it together. It always looks like it won’t work out, but keep matching up the beginning of the row to the end of the same row and it will all come together with no lumps or bumps at the end.

I have made a quick video tutorial (it’s a time-lapse video) so you can get an idea of how to wrap your crocheted strip around the wreath!

You can stitch on the heads to the crochet wreath or hot glue them on (I find this method much quicker and more efficient!) Crochet a little loop of yarn to the back for hanging the wreath or just hang it up directly on to a wreath door hanger.

These silly snowmen will get lot of smiles this holiday season!

Wow! I saw this wreath in my neighbors and wished to have one but here I not only get one but also learned how to make it. It is really an amazing job to teach such crafty skills on the blog and for student like me, it is something outstanding to show for getting compliments from the parents. As a student, I prefer to follow tips mentioned in https://speakerhub.com/skillcamp/eight-best-ways-grab-and-keep-your-audiences-attention-first-sentence/ blog to keep the audience attention and convey the message.
