Happy December! With only 20 days until Christmas I know you don’t want to think about putting another big crochet project on your hooks. So I am giving you these super simple Crochet SnowGlobe Ornaments that you can hook up in just 15 minutes! I had a lot of fun in the button aisle of JOANNs and pretty much bought every Christmas button I saw 🙂 Add them to the center circle for the perfect snowglobe scene!

– Bernat Super Value Yarn in Cool Blue, Berry Red, and White. You could also use Grey, Black, Brown, or Dark Blue for the base. Shop colors HERE on Yarnspirations.com

Im going to look for those snowflake buttons at Joanns, but I’m not seeing them online. How big are they? I love the proportions with the snowman.
These are adorable and I’d love to have the pattern. It won’t print, so I will see if I can cut & paste. Thank you!

Thank you for sharing. I’ve already made one and will be making more.
I’ve hoarded christmas buttons for YEARS not knowing what to do with them. Thanjs for justifying my hoarding instinct! I’m making 30 for my coworkers
Thank you for sharing this. So adorable. Had ankle surgery last month, can’t be up, so teaching myself to crochet. Think I need to make a Joann’s or Michaels run when my hubby takes me to PT this week. Hope I can do it because these are adorable.
I love this! Thank you! Keep restarting cuz I can’t get to 30 after round 3!
How many sc should there be after Round 2?
Appreciate your time. Dana
I just started to crochet these, to be in time for Christmas, but I noticed the same mistake in this pattern. Hope she reads this comments and ajust the pattern.
There’s supposed to be 20. You have to make sure to slip join in the chain 1 from the previous round. Then you start on the first SC. I made my chain 1 big and put a marker in it to keep it from getting small and I got them to all line up with her counts.
This is so cute! Thanks for the pattern.

Can you do this without the magic ring and just chaining and slip stitching the ends of the chain together? Would you do 10 chains? Thanks.
The snow globe ornaments are so clever. Thanks
Just finished three of these for the grandkids – they’re adorable 🙂 Thank you so much!
I love your snowglobe pattern but it will not print.
How can that be resolved?
Such a fun little project. Just wondering how big it is? And how big is the ‘bigger one. Thank you for sharing

I made 20 of these for my granddaughter to put in the goody bags at her kindergarten class Christmas party last year. They were a huge hit. I did glue craft foam on the back of each one to help them maintain their shape and it gave me a place to write “Christmas 2018” on the back. Great pattern and one I’ll definitely use again.
Hi! I used adhesive backed felt on the back for the same reason. But did the craft foam work better and what did you glue it on with? Thanks and Merry Christmas!
Thanks for sharing the pattern and the video how too. Beautiful as an additive to a Christmas gift. I can’t wait to get started for this year’s gifts.
How do you sew the buttons on?
Oh my goodness! So amazingly simple and adorable. I have a 10yo, who loves snow globes. One of his very special ones, from his great grandma, who passed away, was broken recently. Nothing can replace it, but I’m whipping him up a set of these, for his bedroom Christmas tree. He will be so surprised and will love them. Thanks!!!
Having a problem with my snow globes curling… please help, I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong! My count is coming out correct.
Me too QQ
I think it’s something to do with the chaining. I don’t know whether just to block them or what.
I’m having the same issue.. I’ve gone up a hook size and changed yarn brands, still curling.
Thanks for this pattern! Made it with a fox botton and snowflakes of course and it turn out so cute.
I have a hard time with the magic circle. Try to watch how you did it on you video for the crocheted snow globes. I’m trying to make them for my grandkids
Appreciate help

I have a hard time with the magic circle. Try to see how you did it for crocheted snow gloves in your video. I am trying to make them for my grandchildren. There is a problem with my ice globes curling; please help, I have no idea what I’m doing wrong! My count is correct. Very amazingly easy and cute. I have a 10yo, who loves snow globes. One of his special people, who passed away recently from his great-grandmother, has passed away.
Will you give us the count after each round. Thank you so much! Adorable idea!
This will only allow you to print the last photo and the disclaimer at the bottom. Print function still not working correctly.
You are my “go to” for great Christmas ornaments! Super cute designs, easy to follow instructions and I don’t have enough time to make them all! Sending love from southwest Missouri!
The Print This button does not print pattern, just pic.
I have restarted several times and even tried changing hook size. No matter what I do the globe curls. The stitch count is correct, I’ve checked it every time. What am I doing wrong?
I have the sam issue with the curling and have tried to fix it every possible way. The only thing that sorta worked was just starting with 9 single crochet. Then I followed the pattern and I think ended up on odd number with the white. Then I followed the pattern for the red base as is written. It worked pretty well. Basically, just fiddle with the number and don’t worry too much about the end count, if that make sense.

Absolutely loved making this cute snowglobe! I saw many talking about it curling up on them. I chose to add a back to mine add a little stuffing and single crochet around the two pieces to give it some weight and texture. I love how it turned out!
