Cute, cuddly, and quick to crochet! One of my most favorite woodland creatures, the hedgehog can be crocheted is no time at all. This is a simple pattern but can also be customized. You could use the loop stitch (like you see HERE in my Cabbage Patch Doll Hat) to make the back “spikey” or use fur yarn instead. Add a tiny crochet heart to the side of it for a Valentines day gift. So many little ways to tweak this pattern and make it extra special!

Hi Sarah, I have been following you and your patterns for several years now, and really like so many of your patterns! Recently, I have been looking for a Hedgehog pattern to make into a pincushion. Yours is just perfect! I would like your permission to make him/her about half the size of your stuffed-animal hedgehog. If you agree, I would also like to post my little hedgehog pincushion on my Facebook, and also the crochet groups that I’m a member of. I would link to your pattern, from my personal site I’m developing. If you would rather not, I do understand, and will just keep my little hedgehog and enjoy it here at home! Oh yes, I would also like to give it 4 little feet, so it would stay upright – –
Ms. Coleman, I would love to see your finished hedgehog as a pincushion! How??
It is really nice, my nephew’s birthday is coming near and I am searching for a gift online for him. I will surely think about this because he will be 1 year old and this is a nice gift. I was reading reviews in BonusCatch because I love to play online games and because of those games, I can buy an expensive gifts for my nephew.
Could you please sent me the patter for the hedgehog to my email
Thank you so much
I‘m very happy, Now I have a cutte hedgehog.
Would this pattern still work if I used a smaller yarn size and hook? Or any other tips on how to tweak it to make it a bit smaller? I was thinking about attaching a little lovey blanket to the bottom, but it seems fairly big for that in its current size.
very good bood
