Crochet Pumpkin Granny Square

Happy October! It’s officially pumpkin season! To celebrate my favorite time of year, I have a new crochet pattern and video for this adorable Crochet Pumpkin Granny Square available at Yarnspirations.com! The Pumpkin Squares will be joined together to make a Pumpkin Patch Blanket! I will post more about that tomorrow. Let’s first take a look at these cute seasonal squares!

  2. I found a couple of errors in the written part that does not match the chart. In the 4th round, it is missing 2 hdc’s after a dc. In the 7th round, the corners should be 2 dc but the pattern says 2 sc for one half of the corner. Also, should these corner sts be sc instead of dc? This makes the corners flare out when completed because all the other sts are sc??

      You are correct in all of your statements regarding corrections. The video shows the 2 hdc’s after the dc. It also shows/tells that the dc in the pattern for round 7 should actually be sc stitches. (she doesn’t mention the correction in the video, she just says to make 2 sc chain 2 and 2 sc in each corner.) Thank you for catching those errors and mentioning them here. I made one square because I think it’s such a neat pattern. I am not sure when I will find time to make more, but it’s here to work on when I have time.
