Looking for a super simple and quick crochet project for the holidays? These Christmas Character Fingerless Gloves are the perfect project that you can complete in less than an hour! I am providing the patterns for the Gingerbread Man and the Snowman versions but just by changing the color and embellishments you can make other versions too! Santa, Elf, Grinch, and more!
Materials:
– Bernat Super Value Yarn in Topaz and White for the gingerbread version
– Bernat Super Value in White and bit of Orange for the snowman version
– Small amount of black yarn or embroidery thread. And matching yarn or embroidery thread to sew on your colored buttons.
– Size H Crochet hook
– Tapestry needle
– Buttons! Small black buttons for eyes (1/4 inch – 1/2 inch) and two pink buttons (about 1 inch) for gingerbread cheeks.
NOTE: Don’t make the starting chain too tight.
Here is a video tutorial on how to make the GINGERBREAD GLOVES! I filmed this one because it has a color/stitch change but the snowman gloves basically work up the same way, just without the color and stitch changes. Complete written patterns are below!

I tried this pattern for the fingerless gloves and turned out great. Instead of doing the chain i made a ‘foundation chain’ that way i didnt have to worry about it twisting on me like a regular chain usually does. Great Pattern.

I made the snowman pattern. I have large hands and crochet right so I chained 30 at the beginning. This is the only change to pattern I made. They turned out great.
Thank you for sharing.
