Crochet Mini Holiday Hats

December 3, 2020

Here is a cute and quick holiday project that you can make in less than 30 minutes! These Mini Holiday Hats can be crocheted in many different color combinations and you can even stitch on a little face to create a gingerbread or snowman version. I personally love the candy cane stripes! Use them as ornaments, gift toppers, gift card holders, string them as garland, and they also fit perfectly over Marshmallow Mugs!

Can you believe that this pattern was already on my blog disguised as a Tiny Crochet Elf Hat?! You can see that project HERE. I just tweaked the pattern a bit at the end and will repost the new version below.

Materials:
– Red Heart Super Saver Yarn in Red and White (for Santa) and any other colors you need/want for your other hats! Shop Red Heart Super Saver Yarn HERE on Yarnspirations.com
– Size H Crochet Hook
– Tapestry Needle
– Tiny pom-poms (optional) for face embellishments. I used a Hot Glue Gun to attach the faces on the Snowman and Gingerbread Man Hats

Video Tutorial of how to make the Mini Holiday Hats:

These hats are adorable! I’m going to give them a try. My plan is to use one on a giant Hershey candy bar with a snowman wrapper around it. The hate will be a great addition. Thank you so much for the pattern.

    Hi Sarah,
first of all, please excuse my english. It’s been a long time since I learned it in school.
I have a small blog in Germany and have an advent calendar there. Every day I also link other advent calendars or promotions and today I linked your cute little hats. For this I took a photo of you. Please have a look and tell me if that’s OK for you. If not, I’ll delete the photo and just put the link to your blog.
Kind regards and thank you for the great inspiration your blog provides.

These are absolutely adorable and as I was reading the instructions, it struck me that they would be so cute for hard boiled eggs. Thank you for all your beautiful patterns.
