There was another reason I created the Crochet Cactus... I used it for our big announcement! We are on the move again! My husband accepted a job offer he couldn’t refuse and we are moving to Scottsdale, Arizona. We are so sad to leave our fabulous community in Orange County, CA but we are excited for this new adventure. We are still looking for a house (and having a craft/crochet room is a must!) so if you know of anything in the Scottsdale area, send the real estate listings my way.

Congrats on the new locale…my best friend lives in Scottsdale, he loves it there.. a few notes on the weather, etc….summer, be prepared for HOT, DRY heat. It can be 100 degrees at night. Make sure if you get a 2 story, it has air conditioners (2) on both floors. Car batteries last shorter because of the heat. The freeways are called loops (101,202,303) and carpool lanes are called HOVs… its beautiful there. Sports galore to be seen (pros: football, baseball, basketball and hockey)
And the loops like the 202 Santan and 202 Red mountain doesn’t connect. Or at least they didn’t when I left in Jan 2018. That confused me so much when I first moved there. But everything is build on a N, E, S, and W grid. So when someone tells you I’m on the SW corner of this road and that road you can easily find them.
Congrats on your upcoming move. We live in the Tucson area and LOVE IT. The Scottsdale area is one of my FAVORITE ‘get away’ locations.
