Last month I hosted a really fun Crochet-Along that featured Tuna the Cat and Bones the Dog: a crochet toy duo that you could make using one easy pattern! Well, it turns out that there is really no limits when it comes to this pattern because just by changing up the color of yarn and leaving off the snout on Bones the dog, you can make yourself an adorable crochet bunny! Of course you will also need to create a pom-pom tail. Think of all the ways you could adjust this simple and versatile project!
Where can I get the pattern?
The Tuna & Bones Toy Duo pattern is available for FREE RIGHT HERE on Yarnspirations.com.

This pattern is what you will use to crochet the bunny!

You will want to crochet the ears for Bones the Dog. They make fabulous floppy bunny ears! And ignore the color changes in the pattern. You can continue crocheting in the one color you choose for your bunny. I used Red Heart Super Saver in Baby Pink.

Add two small 10mm black safety eyes and a large pink safety nose in the middle of the head to make the face. Easy-peasy, right?!
I purchase my safety eyes and noses off of Amazon:
Don’t forget that cute pom-pom tail! I used a large clover Pom-Pom Maker to create a fluffy round tail.
Let those ears flop around! They can hang down or flop over to one side. Really cute however you style your bunny!
Get creative! Add an applique or maybe a bow or hat or sweater? How about making a little heart on the tummy for Valentine’s Day! Lots of ways to customize. I can’t wait to see your versions.
