It’s time to finish the Stitch in Season Crochet-Along with lesson 3! This week I’ll be showing you how to create a lovely border to frame our new projects. This simple bobble border resembles little snowballs when worked in the Snowflake version and flower buds when used for the Flower version.
Haven’t heard of the Stitch in Season Crochet-Along? Let me tell you all about it.
It’s never too late to join in on the fun!
I am hosting a new stitch along over at Yarnspirations.com in collaboration with Red Heart Yarn! It’s called the Stitch in Season CAL and it features two different motif blocks: A Snowflake and a Spring Flower. The best part is this blanket goes from Winter to Spring depending on which shade of yarn you choose. One Pattern = Two blanket designs!
You can >>>> SIGN UP HERE <<<< to get all the patterns and tutorials directly into your email inbox!
The Snowflake blanket uses Red Heart Super Saver Jumbo in color Macaw
The Spring Flower blanket uses Red Heart Super Saver Jumbo in color Retro Stripe
Note: Retro Stripe Jumbo just sold out! While they are restocking, you can replace the jumbo with regular skeins of Retro Stripe.
Shop these colors HERE on Yarnspirations.com.
Make sure to post your project photos on the Yarnspiration Stitch Squad Group.
You can also share your work on Instagram by tagging @Yarnspirations
and using the hashtags #StitchInSeasonCAL23 or #YARNSPO.
We’re excited to see how you customize your blanket!
No time to make a blanket? No problem!
I give instructions to make the full 12 x12 square but you could use the first part of the snowflake as an ornament or coaster! Same with the flower!
