I’m working on the cutest and easiest crochet star baby blanket pattern and even though I’m not finished yet, I had to pop this up on the blog so you can get started on it as well!
UPDATE: Blanket is finished and it’s reversible! I have the sleepy eyes on one side and the bright-eyes (the original Crochet Cartoon Eyes) on the other side! I ended up chaining 15 for the smile, one for each side of the blanket as well.
This is called the FREE BERNAT DREAMTIME CROCHET STAR BABY BLANKET PATTERN and you can find it on Yarnspirations.com. It’s very simple rounds of double crochet stitches. 3 DC + chain 2 + 3 DC create the points and skipping two DC creates the indents.
The finished size will be approximately 38 x 38 inches from point to point.
Bernat Blanket Yarn makes this blanket super soft and plush. Anything stitched with blanket yarn works up quickly! I am using color Sunsoaked Yellow but you could make your star blanket in any color! You will need 2 balls of Bernat Blanket yarn for one blanket.
