I would love to try any of the fruit recipes in the book… My 20 months old son thinks that this food group only includes bananas, bananas and, of course, bananas… Which is driving me nuts! LOL
Thanks for the pattern and the giveaway!!!

  2. Kerri K. says

That food looks like so much fun. My kids would probably eat them. I have enjoyed making scrambled eggs my kiddos. I love seeing their joy when they eat what they have made.

  3. Rosalin Afan says

My favorite memories are during apple picking in the Fall with grandparents and we made apple fritters, ciders, and apple fritata. It was a lot of fun.

  4. says

I had a toddler and I can’t wait to make holiday cookies with her this year using cookie cutters! We’ve never done it before so I’m hoping for good memories.

  5. Cindy L. says

Love making cute edibles – made Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Turkeys that were adorable and of course the witches hats at Halloween and Pilgrim Hats for Thanksgiving! Love the idea she has healthier treats!

  6. Melissa says

This book looks so cute, my youngest is interested in cooking with me, I’d love to make some of the things in this book with him.

  7. JoaJn LoBrutto says

Anytime my children and I baked were filled with fun, laughter and love. We had the best time making Christmas Cookies to bring to their grandparents and aunts. My daughter loved to decorate anything we made and she did a wonderful job.

  8. Haley P says

What a fun looking group of products! I have always felt kids should have fun with food and be in the kitchen learning how to prepare it from an early age!

  9. Olya says

My kids love to make desserts ( and eat them, too :) If they know l am baking or making something sweet, they are always in the kitchen, offering their help, or looking for a chance to lick the bowl!

  10. Leslie Mansfield says

My fondest memories when my son was little was how much he liked to help with cooking. As an adult he still enjoys cooking and is making his own memories with his daughter and son.

  11. Luisa Pinho says

With that book maybe I could make a few treats for my very, very picky grandson… meal times are very difficult

  12. Heather says

Baking Christmas cookies has always been a favorite memory of mine when I was little. Now with our two little ones we are making great Christmas memories with them.

  13. Theresa says

My best memory in the kitchen is the first time I made a pie. The crust had broken in several pieces but I just pressed it together and proceeded on. My mother laughed at me, saying it would fall apart in the oven. It did not fall apart and tasted great. I got to laugh at her.

  14. Diana G. says

I used to love to make homemade noodles with my kids. My granddaughters love to make cakes, pies and all sorts of other baked goods. They make a mean grilled cheese sandwich ! LOL

What a cute idea .. never thought of the fruit and crocheting the animal. Great idea !! Another one of those why didn’t I think of that ideas !LOL I know I will be making the fox for sure for the Granddaughters (maybe a key chain fox, hmmmm .. the mind is a working ~!LOL).

Thanks for the chance to win !

  15. DeAnna says

I loved baking/cooking with my kids and now my grandson loves to cook with NaNa. I love it as he acts like he is doing a cooking/baking show from TV and narrates the whole thing..One day I will record it. LOL Especially the part when he acts like a judge while tasting.

  16. Cece says

You may remove this post but I wish I could have copied and pasted the picture into the pattern instructions. Seems a shame not to have a visual to go along with the written pattern.

  17. Katy M says

I loved decorating cookies with my daughter.
When my extended family gets together for the holidays, a bunch of us bring homemade cookies ; all kinds, we’ve had gingerbread, sugar, chocolate wafer, peanut butter…almost any recipe that can be rolled out or sliced and baked.
We make buttercream frosting with different colors and sometimes flavors, even chocolate, and have a cookie decorating party!
It’s wild, messy fun for all ages.

  18. Christine says

What a great idea for those kids that rather have candy. Let them make a fun and healthy treat and they are sure to eat it.

  19. says

I love having my kids help me in the kitchen, and now my grandson too. I love it when he comes to visit and the first thing he wants to do is bake cookies!

  20. Jen B says

Oh goodness, my daughter is a quite the food decorator. She loves to decorate everything I make so that it looks more fancy, fun, or colorful. This would be great for her!

  21. nadya kotik says

I remember cooking soup and baking cookies on a big snowstorm. it was so fun even though we had to stay in all day.

  22. says

Best memory: when my son was younger, he used to make me some tea, in his plastic purple teapot with orange cups. The “tea” was plain water, and it always ended with a kitchenfloor full of water to your anckles, and a dozen teatowels needed to clean the mess.
Wish I could relive that memory again. But nowadays he plays with his playstation, no mess to tidy! But he loves fruit, so with this book I can pursuade him to “cook” together again!

  23. Carol W says

What a fun book! I have a 2 year old who is a very picky eater. If it isn’t sweet potatoes or peaches, good luck…I suppose it could be worse. Definitely would love to try some of these healthy, fun snacks & meals. And thanks for the pattern – amazing how it so closely resembles the food fox!

  24. Diane Wheless says

My 11yo grandson has decided he wants to learn to cook, so this would be a great jumping off place. While he has helped me in the kitchen for years, he now wants to explore on his own.

  25. Amy Ward says

We love making banana boats so much in our home that I’m not even kidding – I dream about them. I would LOVE this book for some different FUN recipes! Thank you so much for the giveaway and the totally cute pattern!
